Heat & Sun Considerations
Please note: The darker the color, the hotter the deck will feel in direct sunlight. For hotter climates, consider lighter colors or Trex Transcend Lineage® with SunComfortable™ technology.
*Although Trex decking with heat-mitigating technology is designed to be cooler, on hot sunny days it will still get hot. Care should be taken to avoid extended contact between exposed skin and the deck surface, especially with young children.
Built for Docks & Marinas
TimberTech Landmark decking isn't just for backyard decks — it thrives in harsh waterfront environments too.
Submersible
Can be fully submerged without warping, swelling, or structural compromise.
Splinter-Free
Walk barefoot with confidence — no splinters, no rough edges, ever.
Handles Harsh Conditions
Salt spray, UV exposure, and constant moisture — composite shrugs it off.
Stays Cooler
Won't absorb and radiate heat like pressure-treated lumber or traditional decking.
Low Maintenance
No sanding, staining, or sealing — just rinse and enjoy.
Fire-Resistant Decking
Utah's Wildland-Urban Interface areas demand materials that meet strict fire codes. TimberTech Landmark delivers.
Ignition Resistant
Tested and rated to resist ignition from ember exposure and radiant heat.
WUI Compliant
Meets Wildland-Urban Interface building codes — approved for use in high-fire-risk areas across Utah.
Meets Strict Standards
Complies with California WUI standards (Chapter 7A) and ICC IWUIC requirements for exterior construction.
Peace of Mind
Build confidently in foothill communities, mountain retreats, and anywhere wildfire risk is a concern.
TimberTech Landmark FAQ
What makes the Landmark Collection unique?
Landmark features a rustic crosscut grain texture with a matte finish — designed to replicate the look of reclaimed barn wood and salvaged lumber. The dramatic color blending creates boards that look hand-selected from a century-old timber mill.
Is Landmark made from PVC or composite?
Landmark is part of the AZEK Advanced PVC line, meaning it contains zero wood fibers. It's 100% synthetic polymer — completely impervious to moisture, mold, and insects. This is the same premium PVC technology used in the Vintage collection.
What warranty does Landmark carry?
Landmark carries a Limited Lifetime Product Warranty plus a 50-Year Fade & Stain Warranty — among the strongest in the industry.
How does the crosscut grain texture feel underfoot?
The crosscut grain provides excellent traction with a rustic, textured feel. It has 40% better traction than standard composite decking, making it ideal for pool decks, entryways, and any area where slip resistance matters.
Can Landmark boards be heat-bent for curves?
Yes — like all AZEK PVC boards, Landmark can be heat-bent on site to create curved deck designs and custom architectural details that are impossible with composite decking.
