Fiberon® Concordia Collection
Three Collections. Eight Colors. Infinite Possibilities.
Concordia isn't one collection — it's three. Bold Symmetry for dramatic statements. Natural Astir for organic warmth. Classic Horizon for timeless elegance. Eight colors spanning the full spectrum of wood aesthetics, all protected by PermaTech® surface technology and three-sided capping. This is where choice meets performance.
Three Sub-Collections
Symmetry, Astir, and Horizon — each with its own grain character, color palette, and design personality. Mix and match freely.
PermaTech® Protection
Fiberon's advanced cap technology creates an armor-like surface that resists stains, scratches, mold, and UV fading far beyond standard composite.
50-Year Stain & Fade
Half a century of color protection — matching the PVC collections. Your deck will look as good in 2075 as it does today.
Bold. Natural. Classic. Choose Your Story.
Symmetry for drama. Astir for nature. Horizon for tradition. Every color is designed to stand on its own or mix beautifully.
Graphite
Deep charcoal with bold grain character — like hand-hewn timber aged to perfection. The darkest, most dramatic Concordia color.

Heat & Sun Considerations
Please note: The darker the color, the hotter the deck will feel in direct sunlight. For hotter climates, consider lighter colors or Trex Transcend Lineage® with SunComfortable™ technology.
*Although Trex decking with heat-mitigating technology is designed to be cooler, on hot sunny days it will still get hot. Care should be taken to avoid extended contact between exposed skin and the deck surface, especially with young children.
Built for Docks & Marinas
Fiberon Concordia decking isn't just for backyard decks — it thrives in harsh waterfront environments too.
Submersible
Can be fully submerged without warping, swelling, or structural compromise.
Splinter-Free
Walk barefoot with confidence — no splinters, no rough edges, ever.
Handles Harsh Conditions
Salt spray, UV exposure, and constant moisture — composite shrugs it off.
Stays Cooler
Won't absorb and radiate heat like pressure-treated lumber or traditional decking.
Low Maintenance
No sanding, staining, or sealing — just rinse and enjoy.
Fire-Resistant Decking
Utah's Wildland-Urban Interface areas demand materials that meet strict fire codes. Fiberon Concordia delivers.
Ignition Resistant
Tested and rated to resist ignition from ember exposure and radiant heat.
WUI Compliant
Meets Wildland-Urban Interface building codes — approved for use in high-fire-risk areas across Utah.
Meets Strict Standards
Complies with California WUI standards (Chapter 7A) and ICC IWUIC requirements for exterior construction.
Peace of Mind
Build confidently in foothill communities, mountain retreats, and anywhere wildfire risk is a concern.
Fiberon Concordia FAQ
What's the difference between Symmetry, Astir, and Horizon?
They're three distinct design personalities within Concordia. Symmetry features bold, dramatic grain with deep color saturation — for statement decks. Astir offers natural, lighter tones with organic grain movement — for relaxed, earthy spaces. Horizon delivers classic, timeless colors with refined grain — for traditional elegance. Same core performance, different aesthetics.
What is PermaTech® surface technology?
PermaTech® is Fiberon's advanced cap technology on their PE composite lines. It creates a protective surface layer that resists stains, scratches, mold, and UV fading far beyond standard composite capping. Think of it as armor for your deck — the daily wear and tear that damages lesser boards just wipes off Concordia.
How does Concordia compare to Fiberon's PVC collections?
Concordia is PE composite (recycled wood fibers + polyethylene) with PermaTech® protection, while Promenade and Paramount are solid PVC. PVC offers zero moisture absorption and slightly better performance in wet environments. Concordia offers exceptional value, more color choices (8 vs 4-6), and outstanding durability — especially with PermaTech®. Both carry 50-Year Stain & Fade Warranties.
Is Concordia good for Utah's climate?
Yes. PermaTech® surface protection handles Utah's intense UV exposure at elevation, and the three-sided capping prevents moisture intrusion during freeze-thaw cycles. The boards won't swell, warp, or crack. For pool decks or waterfront, consider upgrading to the PVC Promenade for zero moisture absorption.
What warranty does Concordia carry?
Concordia carries a 50-Year Stain & Fade Warranty — matching the PVC lines on surface protection. The structural warranty provides long-term peace of mind. All Fiberon warranties are transferable to subsequent homeowners, adding value if you sell.
Can I mix colors from different Concordia sub-collections?
Absolutely — and many designers do. A Horizon Ipe deck with Symmetry Graphite border creates a stunning contrast. Astir Prairie Wheat stairs with Horizon Castle Gray field is another popular combination. All 8 colors share the same board profiles and fastener compatibility.
